Holding Creighton to < 70 especially after the way they started is very impressive

What a great win and a gutty performance by Shamorie. First seven minutes he looked like he was running in sand and so was our offense. From there on out, total domination on O, defense and the glass.

Nice to see the team d up. Once we got out on their shooters, everything changed. I’m encouraged by that, but this wasn’t as impressive as the score. Creighton blew layup after layup and missed what felt like almost every three they took in the second half.

We’re going to have to work Keita into the offense. I don’t think he’s talentless but he’s clearly a step behind. He did have a moment or two, and with such a thin bench, we really need him to continue to improve.

He's always kidding. The alternative is terrifying.

The team looked good again. That switching man to man works well with Ponds, Heron, LJ, Clark, and Simons. They remind me of the Eric Barkley teams and a George Mason team of seniors that made the final four. Chris has a tough time getting playing time for Keita and Williams. Both need more experience. Trimble fits in as the sixth man. I wonder how Izzo let Clark go. His work effort is huge. Rips those rebounds down.  Tough true power forward who makes 3's and FTs.

Mullin doesn't know the backcourt violation rule and neither doe the announcers

I was thinking the same thing when it happened but I was sitting way in the corner and didn't have a good view of the half court line.

One of the ball handler’s legs/feet clearly never stepped across the timeline. Len Elmore said the rule revolves around the ball going over and back which is also false. So for once in a St John’s game, the refs are the only ones that knew what they were doing

Probably not so different than why we lost Dixon. Kids all think they should start and aren’t interested in buying into being a part of a team.

They foolishly all think that they’re showcasing their games for nba scouts bevahse that’s the only way kids gets drafted. Clearly it’s not, but that’s their mindset. They all think they should be the star.

Yes, a dribbler's all three points - two feet and the ball must cross into the front court to achieve front court status.
