Had multiple chances to cut this to a one possession game in the last minute and didn't capitalize on O or D.

Definitely past the point of moral victories. Need wins. I said 9-9, 10-8 at best in conf. Tracking that way right now. Not surprising.

This was a disappointing showing. Butler and Creighton are not good teams. The Big East overall is down this year. If this is our level of play now what are we going to look like once Ponds leaves?

Def would not count this as a moral victory. Showed up to the party too late. Didn't start playing like they can until down 22. Tucker was very unreal though a career game for him is what it took.

Hopefully we get in tournament then Mullin resigns.

Ponds was just damn good today, we needed him to be great. 3-4 balls he got his hands on that he didn’t end up with, that never happens.

LJ fouling out hurt. Team still figuring out how to get into their flow on a game to game basis. Was a relatively flat performance early on, gotta be able to work out of those funks sooner. Still feeling good about the remainder of the season.

If we ran offense what Ponds give us fine, but our coach rolls it out there. College is one sport you blame the coach because he has final say he is the recruiter and the guy responsible. Team doesn’t block out on D simple stuff. We settle for too many 3s. Today, we didn’t get the kind roll but I’m tired of that. I don’t want hear they fought and covered in 2nd half. I want Rick here next year or Nate Oats enough. This team with a good is a 2nd weekend team.

Its the middle of f***ing January. We shouldnt be figuring anything out by this point. At some point, you are what you are. And what we are is a talented but not very well coached team.
