Lunardi didn't move our seed, but he has us much more firmly in the tournament then he did in the past.  His First Four games (involving the at-large's) are on the 12 line, and the 13 line.

Seeds 7-10 even 11 this year is going to be a total crap shot

Personally, I hope for a 6 or 11 seed to avoid the 1 or 2 seed in the 2nd round. 6 seems like a stretch unless we take out Nova, go on a year end run and m as the make the finals of the BE tourney.  Realistically I think we get a 9 or 10 seed.

Agreed, 11 or 6 is better than 7,8,9,10. I think the only way to get to a 6 is to win ~5-6 more games, if they win 3 or 4 will probably end up in that 8-10 range, which seems most likely unfortunately.

It will be very interesting to see how the rest of BE is evaluated. Others have played a tougher schedule than we have, but we have now have 3/4 wins against Nova and Marquette.

We have to finish strong. Even with the strong in conference wins, we can’t expect more than a play in game with a .500 conference record.

Yes we can. If we get to a point where we are back on the bubble our resume vs the bubble teams is great. 5 quad 1 wins squashes the bad OOC schedule talk, which by the way included 2 quad 1 games and a few quad 2.

I think it’s funny we are all worrying about the second round.  Haven’t won a first round game since 2000.  I’ll take the highest seed and worst opponent we can get round 1 to start.  Anyone but duke in round 2 is fine w me.

I think we need to go 4-1 down the stretch and at least make it to the quarters of the BET to jump to a 6 but I think we only go 3-2 down the stretch

W at Providence
L @ home vs Seton Hall (yes this would suck)
W @ home vs Xavier
W @ DePaul
L @ Xavier

Interestingly enough, foxsports.com last bracket (before this weekend I assume), had us playing Auburn as well...only we were an 11 and they were a 6.

My thoughts exactly.

I think we’d kick UVA’s dicks in though.

Awful matchup for us with their size. Samir Doughty playing well for them and Heron for us.

Actually think they are similar in style but I think across the board we are better.

They have some big boys. 6’11 260 center projected to go in first round. 6’8 235 combo forward.

We need to avoid the Sec. They are big and tough.

Not we all.  Not this fan.

I still expect us to miss the dance by the narrowest, cruelest of margins with the "clock gate" game being the deciding factor against.

And even when I'm drunk, dreaming or preferably both I can't imagine us actually winning a tournament game.

Rather than focusing on one or two bracket guys that have been proven to not know much, this is a good source to find averages of over 100 "bracketologists". Wisdom of the crowd >
