Be still my beating heart - but did we just punch our ticket to dance with our very own all-everything, Babe Ruth figure, favorite son at the helm?

Oh joy of joys. What have I done to deserve this great gift?

Clyde Drexler never accomplished this.

Most disappointing 7 seed ever - 80
Strongest 10 seed ever            - 74

I've taken opening crack at the predictions all season long and this was my best one.

Luck is on st johns side.  We could not have gotten a better draw.  Marquette is playing awful basketball and we own them.

Looking forward to a win tonight and a possible showdown w the hoyas in the semis.

Couldn’t that exact statement have been said for DePaul last night
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

At that time Simon was perceived to be a less than acceptable D1 player

Logic and common sense would say you're probably right. However this team and what I've seen from them, especially over the last 3 weeks, tells me something different. They look lost out there and continually force the same stuff (iso ball, deep jumpers). If that's not working they're basically toast. They make very few adjustments on offense and it's so painful to watch as they get severely outcoached. Normally we handle DePaul here but they have the blueprint on how to beat us so...

DePaul - 79
SJU - 76

Hahahahaha

Hahahahaha

It’s worth nothing that the offense was very crisp and had a different mode of attack from what we’ve seen in the past.
