Nice read here.

What do you guys expect from him this year? At best, star season and first rounder. At worst, average season but solid and helps us make run. Injuries will be question. It really is his team now.

It’s Heron’s team in the sense that this is the team he plays on.

Heard rumors that Heron is in the best shape of his life and will be a completely new player

Heron's dominant performance in Piscataway last November had me thinking he would be 1st Team All BE. He was rock solid all year but his barking knees hindered him from balling out through March. He has great leadership skills, if the team takes on his identity we're in good shape. Unlike last year where the team followed Shamorie's lead, which was questionable at best.

Heron's good with some upside. He's your classic college tweener. If he improves his outside shot then he could have a really nice year. Either way he will be one of the leaders of this team.

His outside shot was his bright spot last year. He needs to become much less predictable on his drives to the hoop.

Agreed.  Everyone is down on his outside shot because of his horrific performance against ASU, but he otherwise had a good year with that aspect of his game.

His shooting was solid but could definitely be more consistent from the perimeter which will help the entire team offense.

He's very predictable on his drives to the hoop because that's who he is and that's not going to change. Like I said he's a tweener. He plays much more like a brute than a classic 2 guard. He's not going to miraculously change his game in that area. The best hope is that he becomes more efficient on those drives and is a little quicker in doing so. New offensive schemes and concepts that Anderson will implement could also help him in this regard.

If the team is going to have anything close to a good season, he needs to be 1st Team All Big East level player.

I agree- we go as far as him and LJ. Steere has to be dominant too. If everyone plays to their potential and no major injuries this is NCAA tournament bound team and no not the play in game but better than that.

I agree. It’s too easy to know what move he’s making.

Hopefully he combines a takeover / leadership role that befits a potential first round pick without trying to carry the team all by himself.

It would be nice if he became a go to leader like Powell

John Fanta, who covered the games for Big East.com, said it's a sprained ankle.  He should be ready for the start of fall practice.
