Haven't seen a lot of good from Caraher today.

Came out like gang busters second half.

Good to see Sears crashing the glass. This team is so much more fun to watch than previous years. They'll be a tough out in conference.

Coaching. Indifferent first half, coach teaches and encourages, energy level up resulting in a run

Will take some time to figure out.  Anderson has said so, and I don't think it is coach speak.  Having Dunn and Steere as extra bodies will help because fatigue leads to bad positioning and habits on D.

Defensive discipline is concerning. Better teams are gonna snipe us with all this poor trapping

Roberts is most improved over last year.  Dudes a beast out there.

Im about done w/ williams.  He cant play the 1 cause he does not have pg skills and cant play the 2 because he cant shoot.

When dunn comes back he may be relegated to the bench.

This wasn’t a pretty game overall, but we put them away in the second half.

Bunch of guys aren’t comfortable yet with their role in the offense. I like Caraher, but I think we haven’t seen what he can really do yet. I think if he and guys like Champagnie cut it out with the three pointers and attack the basket, they can be big contributors for us.

We can’t give up on Williams this soon. He was hurt, and back injuries take time. He had 3 assists and one turnover. The next option is Tom O’Donnell, and he couldn’t dribble the ball against the CCS press.

OConnell went to Chaminade high school.  Hes a lacrosse player.  He cant play in the big east.

Williams didnt impress me last year and I havent seen any improvement in his game this year like i see in roberts and duke of earlington.

Our first real test will be against Vermont in a week.  They can play.  That will be the 1st barometer on how good this team is.

Agree about G Will. Until he develops a jumpshot he isn't an asset to this team. His athleticism is off the charts but that doesn't translate during half court basketball.

Do you find it strange that your opinion about this game is so different than 90% of our fans?

I don’t know how anyone can watch this game today and come away with the feeling that we’ll be a tough out in conference play.

The good news is that we have more games against awful teams to get it together.

We don’t have a choice. The kid is playing in his second game as a soph and he has been hurt most of the first month of practice. Let’s not throw dirt on him just yet. He’s the only kid that can defend Big East PGs well on the roster until Dunn gets cleared.

Let’s also not act like Dunn is some polished PG. He’s a lot like Williams. He’s best suited for picking his spots to attack the basket. He’s not someone with the skill set to drive 20+ times a game.

Im not shutting the door on him at all. He has the talent. Would just like him to concentrate on his d and attacking the hoop. His jumper won't help the team this yr. He just needs to slow the game down in his mind and make better decisions.

They are getting looks but still far less playing time here than they did against Mercer, because CCSU is hanging around. Earlington and Sears got in earlier but since CCSU's 8-0 run it's only been Williams and Caraher in off the bench. Seems like Rutherford has gotten decreased minutes as well.

Rutherford and Marcellus both got 2 fouls and sat.
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

I find it strange that you have no qualms about continuing to post rubbish and act like you have a clue what you're talking about.

What exactly are you basing your cause for season long concern off of a 30 point win?

I'm basing my views off seeing how the team is playing and what Anderson is implementing. You need to stop being so myopic and see the underlying foundation that is being built. But clearly you cannot.

Again you choose to not to see certain things and that's on you only.
