Just seeing Anderson's shirt. Guess we ran out of that Nike money already.

Every time Earlington shoots I cringe, but he was 7-8 tonight. Gotta give it to him.

Looks like an old Christmas shirt with a St Johns patch sewn on.

We've played a lot of school that I'd consider low major and up and down their rosters I've seen players better than ours.

I think Cole can be a good guy for us but he isn't a plug and play for LJ.

Perhaps not, it’s too soon to know. One big difference between the two players is that Cole doesn’t have a Shamorie for defenses to key on. That’s significant.

With LJ, he had the ball at the end of the game last year, and he figured he’d dribble all the way in until he scored the game winner. Only he wasn’t Shamorie, so it didn’t work. Ever. I don’t think guys on this team pull crap like that.

Let’s see what Coach can do with him. Sometimes he looks like Avery Patterson vs Maryland, other times he looks like Jamal Mashburn when he played for Kentucky.

Cole has had a few poor games but he has already won 2 games for us with clutch shooting and scoring late in close games.

Yeah, no. He doesn't even look like Jamal Mashburn when he played for Cardinal Hayes. In fact, he looks more like Cardinal Hayes than he does Mashburn.

Cole has some serious potential.

Wusu is my favorite, though. I’m very high on that kid.

The fact that we're fighting tooth and nail to win Maac conference games makes me less than confident we can win many Be games.

Of course, it’s concerning. Our upperclassmen need to step it up. Only Greg Williams has made a noticeable improvement. Roberts may not be 100%. I have no idea. Caraher is outclassed every night. I don’t see him sticking around after this season. He’ll be good at a mid major. Earlington I really expected more from. Hopefully this game gets him going. We won’t win 3 games without a strong Earlington.

Maybe this bodes well for the big East schedule. They’re learning how to win at the end of games. Last year the team lost so many close games with terrible turnovers and last second shot clock chucks. I’m am optimistic, so the truth lies ahead in the league schedule.
Maybe the breaks of chance are changing after twenty years it probably takes sometime!😂

Vince Cole is limited in his overall skills, but wow is he a streaky shooter.

LJ’s mistake last season was believing that he get past his man on a dribble drive. It’s not surprising that the player who blew the end of every end game opportunity, wouldn’t realize that he wasn’t Shamorie Ponds, or even James Scott for that matter.

Did you say the same when we were losing to the Incarnate Word's of the world? I think not.

We won. That's all that matters.

Cole does not go up strong.
He went up pretty strong on that game winner.
