Can't remember the last time Vegas gave us a spread like that

Hoping for a blow out in the first half so I can check out early. Need to keep getting the new guys acclimated so as a team they are ready for Indiana next week.

St John’s by 50, Champagnie puts up 32. Posh with 6 steals.

Not sure how much you can really take away from this game, but if Posh’s shooting improvement is for real, this will be a fun season.

With no other changes, we would have danced last year if Posh and Dylan each shot 5-7% better from deep. Posh missed a ton of very open looks. I think Dylan will hit average 40% from deep at least one season here.

What's funny is I literally thought to myself he could be a great 'junkyard dog' type guy after watching him. Kid looked like a solid contributor already.

Also, Posh looks like he's in much better shape, which is crazy because he already had an unlimited motor.

He looked good. Regardless of talent level he played against he played hard and moved quick. I'm intrigued.

New strength and conditioning coach... it was needed in the worst way.

Elite motor and shows some skills that makes me believe he may be the first extremely coachable big we’ve had in long, long time (not counting Justin as a big).

Posh has the rare ability to single-handedly put the entire opposing team under pressure when he’s defending. I used to see this type of player from time to time and always wished we had one. I’m hoping we can find a lineup with another 3-4 guys that could pressure half as well as him. That almost certainly includes  Wusu and Mathis.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the defensive effort of both Stef and Mathis thus far — but Mathis especially.

How do we survive with Posh on bench? It will likely have to be a committee that includes Wusu and Stef. Slow up the pace on offense to run clock?

For sure MVS (basically ranked last in D1 and coming off a 2-22 season)  is that bad, while we looked pretty good jury still out on how good pending better competition.
