I don't see a scenario in which this team improves drastically. Champ and Wheeler are almost certainly gone. Unless they come up with an unlikely recruiting coup then this will be a repeat of the last 3 seasons or worse. I do expect their first commit of the offseason to be a juco.

I can see that scenario, with a telescope. Can you see one where the team's best player leaves for Serbia and half a dozen others transfer and Anderson's remains the worst coach in the league not named Patrick?

Agree our season sucked. We beat no one of consequence (0-10 vs top 5 of conference and lost all 3 games against Power 5 conferences in OOC schedule)...except for our 21 point beat down of giant killer St. Peter's who slew big bad Kentucky tonight. LOL

You must not watch many games. Wheeler, Soriano, Nwyie, Stanley, and to some extent Wusu all improved as the season went on. Mathis also played better and more focused in his role in the second half of the season. Posh played well all year.

The Big East looks awful. Even Indiana lost by 29. Our schedule looks weak.

Good fight by Creighton there. Tournament is always a hard way to grade: whatever conference St Peter’s is in doesn’t suddenly look better because they beat UK. Single game events have a good degree of randomness which is what makes them so fun, the NBA playoffs are chalk every year.

Sure would be cooler with 3+ BE teams in the sweet 16 tho.
