Big game with probably our biggest historical rival and crickets. Site needs to liven up. Is the owner still alive?  I'm not in the prediction business and never care what even the so called experts predict just hoping we play well and win. Need to see some 3 point shooting because when we play good teams the lack of a 3 point game will definitely cost us. Sure you can spring an upset or 2 but to be a legit team ourselves it is imperative we do a better job of actually putting the ball in the hoop including from long range.

This is the first season since I was a kid that I feel no excitement for St. John’s basketball. Last season was just such a disappointment. A win here tonight will get me back on board.

We beat a team that Colgate destroyed. The value is only nostalgia.

Long way to go and this win is bigger because of nostalgia. But! The exciting part is how they won and actually stepped up and not collapsed instead.

SJU has beat them four years in a row but a few of those games we were Colgate.

We can take away the positives and hopefully this time (for real!) can be a start of a special season.

We can also acknowledge the negatives that the OOC is weak and if they can’t play a full game they would be snake bit.

Backcourt looks great as does Soriano. Jones needs to get more selective

My first game live of the year and I enjoyed it. A real thriller. I'm excited about the 6 and 0 start and our first ranking in years on Monday if we beat Niagra. As we all know, something our best team ever was once unable to do.

So, not being facetious, think there is any way we could play with the desired pace and chaos without all the stupidity?

Chaos leads to some bad decisions but, so far, it’s working well. Team should go 10-0 unless they have a serious f-up. The chaos is something no one wants to play against.

So you have us just walking over unbeaten  Iowa St on the road a team who  just beat number one N Carolina in our first road of the season?

Yes.  Pressure will lead to win. Upsets happen all the time.  The Iowa state guards were their offense and that won't happen against our backcourt
