If CU hadn't shot 2 for 17 from three they'd have won, true. That said, the refs let them play all game and then called a touch foul on a miss with one second left. Doug McDermott's father deserved better.

Would have been nice to have a big east year vaguely reminiscent of 85'.

                                                                   Yes,  and at officiating levels locally below the ncaa tournament it's a crisis level problem that's worsening every day. Many junior high contests are now played with zero officials due to ref shortages.
