Dar Tucker.  Also check out Luke Winn's article:
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writers/luke_winn/09/23/breakout.stars/index.html?eref=writers

(which mentions Dar Tucker prominently.)

I would also add Arizona State James Harden if he's not a star already.

The only team I can think of in a major conference with that kind of arc is Miami, and they have better talent.  They went 16-15 in 06, 12-20 in 07, and 21-10 last year.  But the Big East is tougher than the ACC, even if the ACC's top team are some of the best in the country.

Good but not great.  Too many scoring options on that team for him to break out.  He's not a great outside shooter.  If Duke didn't run and get turnovers and run out opportunities, he'd be a really mediocre-to-decent player.

He might be one of those guys that are better suited for the pro game

Nationally
Austin Daye- Zags
David Lighty-Ohio st.
DaJuan Summers -G-Town
St.johns
Coker
Thomas
Boothe

And I love Gerald Henderson's game, he will have his jumper down this year & become a late lottery pick hopefully the Knicks can snatch him up (if we can get another draft pick) he would be great for NY, he reminds me a lil of Iggy from Phi
Attack basketball, pressure defense, 40 minutes of hell ... Early on it might be 30 minutes of hell, then 10 minutes of what the hell are you doing?"

That has nothing to do with Gerald Henderson.  Break out year for Norm is another thread entirely (because it'll be long and filled with complaining about the state of the program, and should be focused as such).

Norms breakout year has already begun imo, the signing of Omari and other top recruits mentioning SJU at the top of their lists is a great start. .500 would be a great start

I think Harden will get some votes for player of the year.  That dude is good.
