Good stuff. I think hes right by saying pressure d for 40 minutes. The best player in that tourny is St Marys' Patrick Mills

i've been tweaking with the layouts too. The main page is getting close to what I want it to look like finally. I think its going to make for very effective browsing to make Johnny Jungle the best source for St. John's basketball. I'm trying to figure out a way to integrate the forum into the main page but right now the coding is well over my head its like reading chinese.

Well if you go by our previous road record its safe to assume every game is going to be a loss but I agree with you that you would think they would come out hungry and I think we all hope that.

Great job on the tournament. Thanks. If we can get by Ohio - who knows?

the only way for st. john's to win tonight is if i lay a monster bet for ohio with las vegas then for sure they win

JJ, I don't know what else you have in store but this imo is already the best place for SJU hoops on the internet far and away.

As for tonight, I will surprisingly be ok with a W or an L. Obviously a win over a tough opponent who just beat Maryland (who I still have nightmares about from CvC last year lol) would be huge but I'm not sure how far we'd get in the championship bracket and I don't think we can beat St. Mary's. If I am sure that we can get past Hawaii then I would be ecstatic to get two wins but if not then it won't bother me to drop a tough game tonight and get two confidence-building wins as we head back for the Holiday Festival which I believe we should take this year.

If we were to get past Ohio which isn't impossible this leads us down a harder path which could set us up for more disappointment however you can't root against the team in game one to go into the consolation bracket to pick up 2 more wins. In Theory 2-1 would be great coming out of here but if we were to lose game 1 and lose game 2.... yikes we would have some serious issues. We need a win here tonight and I think CBTS keys are on the money. Anyone know anything more about Ohio?

this is sad.  we are talking about how facing a team like ohio is going to be a tough feat for us....

we should be better than this...

isn't AMJR playing?

to be honest this wouldn't even be the highest priority tv for me. Pistons/Celtics and Mavs/Suns great night for the nba even though I'm more of a college guy
