Some great names there. Who are your top 5? Interesting to see neither Barkley or Cook mentioned, but Ed Cota was.

that is a great list Choz..   so many people forget how good Red was...     I know I am in the minority but I think Steph was a better high school player then Kenny...  but since Kenny is my age..  I don't think I understood the game as well to truly appreciate how good he was at Molloy...

Was Kenny Satterfield a PG in High School? If so, think could be mentioned in the same sentence with some of these guys? What about Andre Barret,Taliek Brown,Cook and Barkley? Obviously their careers went in different directions, but coming out of HIgh School can they be grouped with the top pg's? My guess is they are the 2nd tier

Mark Jackson over Stehon Marbury all day long, fellas let's be real here!  Physical talent is one thing, but not one of you could honestly pick Steph over a winner like Mark to run your college or NBA team.

Mark.  Stickland was the better scorer for sure, but Mark was smarter and just ran a team better.

but you have to ask "high school", "college", or "pro" before you start saying unequivocally that one is better than another.  i was not watching ball until mark jackson was almost out of college (i was in, what, middle school, i believe).  but steph was incredible on the HS level as I remember it.  and Bassy was so good in high school (granted, with a good supporting cast) that I am surprised how mediocre he has been in the pros.  then again, he couldn't shoot well in HS either.

but i won't rank them because i haven't seen enough of the top nyc pgs back when

Considering the city has a reputation for producing and hyping pgs (if nothing else), it's amazing that there have only been three HOF pgs and none in at least a generation.
