So my friend and I just made a bet on St.Johns upcoming season. 6 wins, I took the over. Can I win this? I see no reason why we cant win 7 in the BE this season, maybe I'm being too optomistic but I think we'll be better than people think.

On another note, can we beat Cuse at MSG this season? I really hope so as I would love to shove it in all the guy's faces up here.

we can beat fuse if more st.johns fans showed up than cuse does. That's horrible

As a guy who's done a fair amount of sports gambling in his life, rest easy on the six wins. That's just stealing money-even with Norm Roberts .
As for Cuse at MSG, they'll be a slight favorite, roughly 5-8 points, but it is certainly possible for them to lose that game.

I was working on some predictions today and honestly I could see such a jumble in the standings that anything is possible. Its amazing how much returning and incoming talent there is within the conference. So many question marks of big guys coming in replacing big guys can they do it?

We lost Larry Wright. Syracuse lost Donte Greene, but they gained Mookie Jones, Eric Devondorf, Andy Rautins and Kris Joseph. Depth was a problem for them last year. Not anymore.

St. John's has played a lot of "winnable" games on the road the past two years. .  problem is that we rarely win them...

Pitt has a key injury at point. And I feel the guys mental is different. They feel disrespected and when u play team like that it can be dangerous

But Pitt has a number of decently talented guards, and even if Levance's injury lingers, one of them will have played major minutes, and will be ready to pick up the slack.  Can't see @ Pitt being a toss up, especially since, as pmg rightly points out, the team has been terrible on the road.
