It's time for change. The selection of Palin was not a smart choice and McCain stating two weeks before the market crashed that the "financial market was fundamently sound". I am not head over heels for Obama but to me personally.....he is just a better choice IMO. Obama's lack of experience scares me but he has more then handled himself on the campaign trail. These are the main reasons I am voting Obama.

The VP selection was a major test and McCain failed! Obama has proven himself under fire during this whole election process and I will be interested to see how he would handle the Presidency (If he wins it). Even some of my friends who are Republicans admit that McCain dropped the ball by selecting Palin. It's not that I am head over heels for Obama and his speechs it's just McCain made up my mind by his actions. Finally just because Obama lacks the experience it does not mean he will not be a good/effective Pres. IMO.

Essentially what your saying (and I agree with you) is that McCain has already proven he lacks the judgement, temperment and character to be POTUS. Obama hasn't had enough time to do the same. In the absence of analyzing candidates by their positions on major issues I don't really have a problem with this rationalization.

For this countries sake I hope the next Pres has a steady hand and nerves of steel.
