Boothe To Play on Friday for Johnnies
Written by Theo Rabinowitz

Sophomore guard Malik Boothe, who suffered a hip pointer after colliding with 6-10 forward Dele Coker during practice last week is expected to play in the Red Storm's first game on Friday against LIU, according to a St. John's spokesman.  The 5-foot-9 starting point guard missed a few practices following the incident, but was back to participating in full-contact practice on Wednesday.

Boothe started in six games in 2007-08, and figures to be an integral part of coach Norm Roberts' squad, as St. John's is thin at the lead guard spot.

Coker will be more of an asset when he's beating up the other team's players.

Even if it were true, it really wouldn't matter.
He isn't the one guy we can't do without.

However, if it's true, good for you.

If it's bogus, he should be banned, and then maybe beaten.

Care to elaborate on the injury kelsie. Is it his knee, ankle or hamstring? Is it a bruise, strain or something worse?

I can  already see the excuses forming in Roberts post game quotes after yet another subpar season. Sadly, young Mase appears to be snake bit and his career at st. johns will be filled with should-a, could-a, would-as.

Late last night Hardy and Lawrence decided they are going to Iona.

Kennedy is transferring to Manhattan.

Coker fouled himself in practice, and he is out for two months.

Yes it was my first post --have been a memeber of another site for a long time --thought I would try this one because of all the personal garbage that goes on there ....NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE HERE ..

I HAVE BEEN a program supporter for OVER  20 years --I attend all the home games ..

Does it make sense to post untruths ...?? I hope he is fine and will play

I ONLY POSTED WHAT I WAS INFORMED LAST NIGHT AT UNIVERSITY FUNCTION.

Hurt his ankle or lower leg ---not the one he had the problem with last year ..

you can Ban me ---but I doubt you could BEAT ME --LOL

I only posted what was told to me by someone who has no reason to deceive me ...
it is the truth as I know it ---No reason to start rumors...

This program has enough problems ---

Lets all just turn out and support the kids .....

By the way --saw the new setup last night ---was pleasently suprised --
