Are you guys SURE you don't want Gonzo as your coach? Think of how it would liven things up on the board. You wouldn't just get a coach, but his whole family of message-posting protectors.
Da ship is sinking.

Talk about piling on.  Jeff Goodman of Fox takes another veiled shot at Gonzo and SHU with his announcement of SHU's first recruit for next year.  And I cut and paste . . .

Word is that Hutchinson Community College big man Cliff Dixon committed to Seton Hall.

No shock, there, since the 6-foot-10 Maryland native is currently suspended.

Bobby Gonzalez has been unable to lure anyone to the school from the Class of 2009 – until Dixon – partially because he’s on a hot seat.

Dixon played last season at Motlow State junior college.

Sounds like a perfect fit for Gonzo.

Just curious... you think they'd be jumping on him if his team won 2 games in the dance last year and looked good again this year?

Somehow I doubt it.

I'm 50 and, in all my years as a sports fan, have never been a fire-the-coach-or-manager guy. I supported Bill Russell and Grady Little as Dodgers manager, Kevin Loughrey and John Calipari with the Nets, and P.J. at the Hall when times were roughest (I once tossed a "Fire P.J. petition in a waste basket at the Meadowlands). But to me, the Gonzo era is destined to end ugly. The whole situation gives me a sick feeling. It's disconcerting to me that a lot of Hall fans can't see what other basketball followers can.
Am I being too hard on this guy? He was once linked to your school.
