Hello, Dwight Hardy. Johnny Jungle Gets First Look

Everyone has been wondering, who is Dwight Hardy? He was hardly mentioned by scouting services, there was no real buzz about him until signing day when he signed his LOI to St. John’s while his teammate Dwight Buycks signed with conference foe, Marquette. So what do we know about Dwight Hardy? Well he can score, score, and score at least thats what we keep seeing in the box scores. We know he has a tendency to hit the three ball in bunches but is he just a spot up shooter? Does he have handles? Can he create his own shot? No one knows?!?!?

No one has actually seen Dwight Hardy well a few have but not in about 2 years. So we’re left to read mostly box scores and speculate and imagine what he could be for St. John’s. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could go to Indiana and watch Dwight light it up a few times? Well we’re making that possible for you. Not too much Dwight in the first game but it was a blow out. I'm very interested to see when he plays a bit of better competition.

Definitely off the ball. It seems like he'd be 3rd maybe 4th string PG on that team. #11 and Buycks(Marquette recruit) handle the ball mostly.

Not too much Dwight in the first game but it was a blow out. I'm very interested to see when he plays a bit of better competition.

Through 11 games he's scoring 13.8 per game shooting 79% from the line has made 23 three's.  As discussed on another thread seems like he started very slow.  He also had one weird game where he only scored three but besides that game in 6 of the last 7 he's averaging 18.7, shooting 82% from the line and has made 18 3's.

I think he was more or less curious if he could due to our need for a backup PG. I don't think he said it under the impression of thats what he expected out of him.

Well it really appears the team doesn't need him all too much. They are just blowing out teams, I really hope he starts playing some teams which will challenge him.

Indian Hills is always a great JC team.  Presently they're ranked 5th in the country, their only loss is to the #2 team.  The only other ranked team that they play this year is Southeastern who appear to be in their conference and they play them home and home in Jan/Feb.  Iowa Western is in the "also receiving votes" category and they play them twice as well.

i noticed this in the first video but didnt say anything, but some of his shots are just shown twice like the third three pointer is the same as the second one
