Very good interview. Michael Kay didn't throw up too many softballs to Norm what so ever. He was pretty straight foward and to the point about Norm feeling the heat, pressure, and about needing to improve in the Big East.

He talked about the Post article today.

He talked about recruiting.

Then as soon as Norm got off the line he ripped into Norm a bit saying he needs to win and he doesn't know if St. John's is committed to winning. He says they are a big time school but they aren't a big time school and they are stuck.

One of the better interviews I've heard in a while with Norm. I also thought Norm did a good job of handling all the questions as well.

That is one of the strongest qualities for  Kay, he is an amazing interviewer. He never does the softball stuff, he goes for the jugular. I like that he kinda ripped Norm following the interview and just let everyone know he needs to hes on the hot seat. Nice job by both, although I would like to have heard better answers from Norm, overall he did well
