Siena gets a 9 seed and matched up with Ohio St in Dayton. Not good. Big East gets 3 #1 seeds.

i dont mind the match up with ohio state the only thing that pisses me off is that it pretty much is a home game for them. i would have liked to seen them get a 11 or 12 seed instead i think there gonna be a victim of their own success
*wipes ketchup from his eyes* - I guess Heinz sight isn’t 20/20.

Told you :)

Dayton has a great arena and always hosts a round or two in the tournament.  Siena travels well, though, but this is a tough trip for them.  Columbus is only an hour and a half from Dayton.

Siena is the only team that I am aware of that puts student by the court in the designated band section.  It is a very good idea.

I'm pissed.  All of my bracket-busters are matched up against teams I like.

Utah State vs. Marquette
Dayton vs. WV

Nova and Texas (no difference between the two) matching up in the second round.

I thought this was going to be my year.  The ony conference I have idea about is the Big 10. I didn't watch a game all year.

Oklahoma really got screwed.  They have the toughest road by far.  They open up with a very, very good Morgan State team in round one.  They probably play Clemson and their ridiculous pressing and shooting team round two.  Round three, they would have to play the winner of Syracuse/Arizona State.  Both teams I could hae seen making the Final Four before the brackets were released.

If they win that game, they only have to play tournament favorite, North Carolina.

Looking at the easiest bracket, the East, Uconn and Memphis will both roll to the Elite 8, with a possible hiccup for Memphis coming against Marqueete if they advance.  I don't like either team, but I don't see a loss there.  It would have been nice to not stack the south so much and spread it out.

Pitt has a tough road as well.  I know some predictng ETSU to be the first to win as a 16th seed.  They have athletes.  And Oklahoma State is VERY good in round two.

South Bracket Probably Future draft picks:

Blake Griffin -First round
Ty Lawson - first round
Tyler Hansbrough - first round
James Harden - lottery
Ed Davis - lottery '10
Austin Daye - first round
Wayne Ellington - first round '10
James Pendergraph - first round
Deon Thompson - second round '10
Danny Green - second round
Josh Heytvelt - second round
Justin Pargo - second round
Johnny Flynn - first round '10
Arinze Onuaku - second round '10

This bracket is so much better than the rest. Four teams--UNC, OU, Syracuse, and Arizona St.--that I could have seen in the Final Four with a different bracket.

I could see Wake losing to Cleveland State first round.  Ced will be able to stay in front of Teague and Bullock will give their forwards problems with his strength.

Michigan State and Kansas will take care of each other.  I'm not worried about Louisville.  I just can't believe Uconn is basically given a free pass.

VCU is another team I am upset about.  They are playing UCLA first round.

I think Siena can pull of the win first round.  Utah State got screwed.  They did not deserve an 11 seed.  I'm not happy.  I thought they could win a few in a row, but Marquette is such a tough matchup for them.

Tai Wesley and Hayward should be fun to watch, but McNeal will swallow Quayle defensively.  I guess it all comes down to the tertiary players like Pooh Williams and then their star big man is a their only positional advantage.  It is rather big, though.

Why is Arizona in the NCAA?

They had some impressive wins like Kansas, UClA, Washington, etc.
