Speaking of Seton Hall, 6-9 sophomore forward Brandon Walters is transferring.

“He’s going to transfer,” said Dwayne “Tiny” Morton, Walters’ coach at Lincoln High School in Brooklyn. “He talked to the coaching staff and everything went smoothly.”

Walters is due to visit Siena on Friday and Morton said he had also heard from Manhattan and Hofstra. He will have two years of eligibility left after he sits out a year.

Given that last season started off with Gonzo saying that he wasn't a Big East player and that the only reason he was still on the roster was because they had less than 10 scholarship players for the year, well let's just say no one should be surprised, right?

I remember hoping that Theo Davis, who played at Cardozo, would come to St. John's.  What a disaster he turned out to be.

He's definitely crazy, but the guy that ran the Canadian AAU program that served as his advisor didn't give him one ounce of good advice.

Ro Russell was also involved in Tristan Thompson leaving St. Benedict's.
