total guess here  .  Stony Brook

Nope, UNC-ASHVILLE 1998 St Johns won by 55, 105-50. Heres the box score, I think Kevin Martin, who plays for the Sacremento Kings was on the team.

Kevin Martin graduated from Western Carolina - and I checked, not the same guy.

Who was the first NCAA tournament championship game participant to be the son of a former first-team All-American?

I will switch up the sport (since it's now baseball season).

(1) How many baseball teams have won the world series more than once since 1970? (And name them)

That completes the list.
And since 70 what team has the most Championships?

The Yankees win... the YANKEES win!
Yankees have 6 wins, Oakland second with 4, Reds third with 3.

After that hint I'll say Lee Melchionni (sp?), but I don't even know if his father was any good or if the son actually made a championship game--all the Duke teams after a certain point all blend together for me.

Lakers are playing...I say Luke Walton

..of course that hint wouldn't make sense though.

When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

Yes, that tip would be useless in that case!

You and LJSA need to think a little earlier.

Was Dunleavy Sr. a great college ballplayer?

Did Art Heyman have a son?

If not, I'm tapped.

I hate to give too many tips this late as The Kid is prolly getting his beauty rest,
but if may I quote the words I see on youngster's clothing... "Tap Out"!

From memory Art didn't have any kids, just a stepdaughter. I am from Oceanside and my family knew him back when.

Hey geniuses,

I know you try to block it out of your memories, but the RED SOX, the only team since 2004 to win 2 titles, was the easiest one and you both missed it.

I only became a Duke fan when I matriculated in 2001 and I don't ever recall hearing this trivia question.

Chris Collins sounds like it could be right...did Bobby Hurley's Dad play?
