Never in recent memory has a recruit fallen into a coach's lap like this one...if Norm can't sign Lance it is the nail in the coffin to any chance for him to prove he can recruit at a level to potentially make up for his lack of coaching ability.

Unless somehow Lance leaves and Norm gets Kevin Parrom, I would wager that Norm is a dead man walking for the next year if Lance does not sign.

If he gets Lance, he's not a dead man walking, but still may be a dead man as there will be no excuse not to make the NCAA with lance, sophomores who became juniors, and a weak Big East.

Seriously though, your post is all well and good, unless Lance's family is adamant about getting him out of NYC.  In that case, not much a guy like Norm can do.

As I posted over there this is the same as the Omar Cook situation and even more work than the OJ Mayo recruitment.  Let's see how it turns out.

First off, I very rarely start threads, second when I do I just try to not make any of the sites feel inferior. This strategy worked very well for me back in the day whilst juggling 2 or 3 hotties You have to show some love equally!

I have a bad feeling that this Lance saga will not end soon.  If St. John's is really his second choice we will see in the next few days if it plays out longer than that I feel like he may be fishin for other offers.

agreed...if he "settles" for us and then the team isnt producing, or anything goes wrong for that matter, he'll probably throw a fit

reading everything lately...doesn't look good for us...if he wanted st johns, he would have announced right after the henrys...i think his family has been doing their own recruiting behind the scenes to try to get offers from other schools...nothing to back that up, just my opinion
