A: I'm not randomhero.

B: I don't toss out things as stone cold fact unless I know its stone cold fact. If I don't know something is definite then I tell you I don't know if its definite. I don't bullshit.

You wish you had the local basketball knowledge that 17 year old kid has these days..

As for things you are not at liberty to talk about..    are they along the same lines as the supposed MYSTERY RECRUIT were were landing that you couldn't reveal his name out of fear another school might jump on him...

pmg, let's say the "things" are not, since Dave's post didn't hint at that at all!

Enjoy your warm spring Friday, man.

after he announces, the posts are either gonna be "LANCE IS A DOUCHE" or "PRAISE OUR NEW LORD"

if norm doesnt get him its his own fault, like parrom...he had 5 years to build a winner to attract top notch talent, and he hasnt...its a testament to the prestige of st johns that we get the kids we do already, and have interest from all these other kids who end up going elsewhere, bc we dont have a big name coach, we dont have great facilities (at school), msg isnt as big a draw as it used to be and we havent been winning...so really, norm HAS been doing well recruiting lol...given the situation that is

Guys once again let's just wait and see what happens with lance. And if they don't get them open up the gates of hell. And I mean open them let it all out. Riot plunder go nuts. Just let it bottle up for a few. If u let it out now it won't be the same

Boom roasted! Mystery recruit was awesome. The thought of you pounding your keyboard and clinching your mouse at work was worth it alone.

To the topic at hand I used randomhero as an example for what I'm not due to the fact tha kid brought him up. Sorry I don't flip and flop nor do I post things to be fact when they're not. If you want to look up my posts my track record is pretty solid there is no need to defend myself.

Exactly, KOB.  There are reports and rumors flying everywhere (mainly against the idea of him playing for SJU), but the fact is he has not signed here or anywhere else.  Over the last couple of months, he has made it perfectly clear where he wants to be.  That being said, Kansas might not be an option anymore due to Xavier Henry.  Now, he is another kid who is unsure of where he wants to go from here.  Even though it was reported he would go to SJU or Maryland if Kansas was no longer an option, I think he always believed that Kansas would be his destination.  And I'm sure it's a bit of a punch in the stomach for him, considering he is one of the best players in the country.  The question now is where he decides to go from here.  Does he ignore the fact that there's competition and go to Kansas?  Does he go with his second or third choice and attend somewhere he's comfortable in?  Or does he re-open the recruitment process (e.g. Kentucky or Memphis).  It's his choice.  But let's step away from the ledge for a few days and see how this plays out.

I must say I hope it doesn't happen but it very well could. The staff has dropped the ball on Parrom and our eggs are all in Lance's basket. If we lose out on him we get our Ty and Phil Wait all over again. I'm very angry today

Dave,

Welcome to the club.

KOB & Doody are correct. Everyone should chill out until he makes his decision. He doesn't want to announce on the heels of Henry's press conference. Also, the Yanks- Redsox and the NFL draft will dominate the papers this weekend. Whether he picks us, the Terps or announces he is re-opening his recruitment, he should wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to announce a press conference for the next day. Not to his benefit to do announce before then. Mid week gives him more press coverage. Still hoping.
