Sloppy win.  We certainly had moments and stretches where I thought the team looked great.  Brownlee is a real upgrade and Kennedy was very good.  Evans also very good at times.  Saw some great interior passing.  Other times we looked sloppy.  MAlik Boothe should never be shooting a 3 unless the clock is running out.  Our PGing is pathetic.  We have a long way to go.  Much better than previous years, but we're mediocre right now.  We got room for improvement.  Where the season will go is yet to be seen.  Duke will win by 20-30 points on Sat, so let's hope we come back strong against the Bulldogs next week.

I was expecting us to play a much clearner game...execute more effieciently. We needed to be firing on all cylinders. A win is a win. To beat Duke will will have to shoot the lights out and take care of the ball.

I agree we need better play out of the PG position however I disagree with your Duke predictions. I'm not saying we're gonna go in there and steal a win but I also don't feel we're going to get blown out.

This one was a tad sloppy, but the late long range shooting by SB and the missed FTs by us made this one change from a 15-20 point laugher to the 8 pts that it was

Just got back from game. Paris didn't score but defended their best player very well. DJ played really good, he scored a number of ways. Fowards played better, however stony brooks big guys were awful. Burrel looked better. Very sloppy game but we won and all that matters. Looked like team was looking ahead. Hopefully the coaches get them ready for saturday.

We could be facing Duke with them coming off a loss.  They're down by 6 at Wisconsin

A win is a win in my book. 6-0 is a great start for this team. They're very dangerous. Continue that momentum.

We shot poorly but our defense was solid. Our transition breaks weren't spaced properly which caused TO's and poor execution. Nothing a film session and some awareness can't fix.

The final score does not tell the story of this game.
It was over. They hit a few miracle shots toward the end.
It was really a 15 point lead for a good portion of the game.

Our point guards weren't doing a very good job of running
the offense. They need to call plays in the half court.

Evans played with a lot of fire in the first half. He looked good offensively.
He showed nice offensive rebounds and strong moves to the basket.

Kennedy was great.

Horne needs to get to the basket. Your shot ain't falling, find another way to score. 0 points is nuts against these jokers. He should be eating them alive. It felt like a lot of the time, he was dribbling without a plan.

Omari rebounded, stole, passed and scored. Needs to work
on that free throw stroke.

Brownlee was great. Passes out of the double team in the post.
He and Thomas would be great up there. Solid on defense too.

Hardy was very effective tonight. Needs to show us a mud range game.

Burrell played pretty well. Made a couple of jumpers, I think.
Got to the line. Rebounded in traffic, and had a beautiful tip in.
He's getting better. Working hard. Made several poweful outlet passes.

Coker had a nice big man move. Looked good finishing it. He has improved.
In limited time, he's okay. He should be practicing every day.

I know it's come up a lot, but I wonder if Anthony Mason Jr isn't just what this team needs at the 2 guard?

disagree on 20-30pt loss. maybe, but i dont see it. saw duke 2ce this year uconn and wisky, only shooting 28%? we can play with these guys. must contain their 3pt shooting.

i dont understand playing stith and lawrence over quincy. i like hardy when he was playing the point because he is aggressive. booth is solid and stith looks a little scared still. lawrence shows potential but i dont understand playing him over quincy ever.

i liked how we went to a high pick as the plays broke down, but everytime it was pick and pop--we need jb rolling to the basket and scoring or passing in the paint not him with the ball at the top of the key with 5 on the shotclock. also put paris or dj on the ball for those late shot clock moves and kick shooters to the corners.

I think Omari handles the ball like D1 guard.
He belongs out there. A little shaky at times,
but he's a freshman, and we'll need him
in Jan.

I think Roberts might contribute at the off guard,
but he's not comfortable, or talented enough with
the ball to run the offense. It's not his position,
and hopefully, shouldn't be again.

He missed a couple of shots after making a nice move.
Once he gets his timing, he'll be very good, but he needs
this time to get the kinks out
