They didn't even spell his name right in TWO places (its Dashaun Wiggins) so that's probably not very reliable.

It says Deshaun WiggIns committed to Seton Hall and Deshaun wiggAns signed with St Johns...but i think its just a type-o

Rivals on a whole isn't very good. There are some site that are very good but then there are other that are terrible. There isn't much of a standard

scout i think leans more east coast and rivals more west. if u want to know about a ny player i always say nyhoops.com. and im a big fan of hoopscoop. but he wants money

I am a Notre Dame football fan. Irish Illustrated is very good. Don't really know much about the other sites. I am pretty sure they are independently owned. So the more people paying the better the site. I heard Ohio St. and USC's is also good.

Looks like I answered my own question. According to this, he did NOT sign with S.H is now being considered a 2011 recruit.

The article does imply however that even as a 2011 recruit he is considered committed to the Hall.  But given the amount of time between now and his LOI signing date next November of course a lot could change.

NYHoops isn't a great site to follow recruiting, but it is a good site to follow the HS beat around NYC.  ZagsBlog and NYCHoops are the best you got for recruiting IMO.
