Georgetown and more
« on: December 19, 2009, 02:08:35 PM »
Looking forward to finally getting to the BIG  EAST teams and see what this team    can do. Hopefully JUSTIN will be back by then. He has done great against MONROE, HARANGODY etc......that will get W's., as it did last year.

You are correct sir.  The season begins at Gtown.  It would be such a huge confidence builder for this team to get a road win to kick off Big East play.  Not holding my breathe for Justin to be back then.  I have no problem letting Coker continue to play in his place.
When he does come back from his injury, he's gonna have to fight for his minutes. Coker has proven he can be a defensive force.  Harangody has had his way with us in the past.

I agree.

Hofstra is our most important game.

Havent seen Georgetown yet but they are ranked 11th. We beat them twice last year. For those who have seen them, How much better are they from last year?

Especially considering they lost 2 starters (Sapp and Summers)

Apparently Georgetown was looking past ODU to the game against us.  They just got beaten 61-57.

Seton Hall lost to Temple. Georgia beat Illinois which is a decent Big Ten team.

West Virginia narrowly escaped Cleveland St.

A lot of shake ups coming in the rankings.

Good comment......closer to home.....how does an former ALL BIG EAST FRESHMAN - FORWARD ..get  9 or way, way less shots in EVERY GAME......4 this year.....many times just one or two shots a game.  AND it never changes !

Illinois has beaten two ranked teams this season (at Clemson and Vanderbilt).

lol...xhoops loves Burrell. So read it with a smile and get a good laugh. I do understand his point though. If Georgetown wants to be successful they need to ride the Monroe Pony.

I know Monroe is supposed to be great. He came in with incredible hype. Definitly hasn't lived up to his hype in the few times I have seen him. But I only saw him play  a few times.

You did see him play Monroe very well in win over Hoyas last , I assume. I just don't get all the negativity towards JUSTIN.
