St. John's shows maturity, resilience [NY Daily News]

This was the type of game St. John's needed to win.

The Red Storm showed the maturity and resilience that have been missing in the past few seasons by rallying past Hofstra, 72-60, Sunday in the Holiday Festival at the Garden.

Listen to this cheeky b***h Pecora:

He said that knowing he will never be able to sign the type of players Roberts has access to in recruiting. "The bottom line is they're a Big East and we're in the Colonial Conference," Pecora said. "That's a big difference when you go into the living room."

Excuses, excuses. I bet he thinks he can do better.  I hope we play them every year (except for 2011, when the team will be all freshmen) and crush them like little whiny bugs.

Funny how Pecora and McCaffrey have come off after they have lost to us this season. I think it says a lot about them.
