We beat them last year. Now they'll have to contend with Brownlie and Evans, and they won't be able to.

If we guard the 3 well, we'll blow them away.

SJU 78, Cornell 64

Hardy records a career high.

We'd have a chance to be ranked after Christmas - next week.

This is going to be a hard one. I can see Cornell pulling it out if they shoot really well from 3 and we don't. However, they will also need to be able to rebound defensively against us (which I don't think they will do).

In summary, riding on our play in the last 6 minutes of last night, I think we will play good defense tonight (Coker IMO will need to be on Foote) and pull out with a 5 or 6 point victory.

Have you seen that Cornell scores a lot of points and doesnt play much defense?  Scores in the 50's would be a big surprise.

Beat them last year easily. We are better, have more depth, and are much more athletic. We should win by 10.74- 64

I think Coker should be giving the "full body massage" (as what's his name puts it) to Foote, but if you make him run, he shows why he's been at the A-10 and Ivy level - Jeff Foote's endurance is substandard.

Wittman is a smart offensive player, he'll make plays.  Can the Johnnies play without dumb turnovers?  Can Evans make plays down low without getting blocked?  Can Hardy and/ or Horne go off?

As for last year, they were operating without their PG Louis Dale.  He looked mediocre last night but he's pretty decent, quick and effective.  I think the kid deep on their bench, Errick Peck, could come in and give St. John's fits.

82-73 St. John's!

Too many athletes.  Whitmann will have his hands full on defense with DJ.  Their bigs will not be able to stay with Brownlee and Evans.
