Its not gonna do anything.  We need people going to the games and chanting for Norm to be fired.  Hopefully the students have seen enough by now....

The current students are the softest bunch of pansies I've ever witnessed at St. John's in my lifetime.  We would have been calling for Norm's head year two.

My class started a fire jarvis chant in Gambel Pavilion that was really something.

Maybe it's Fire Harrington. Not Fire Roberts.

Mahoney, Fraschilla, Jarvis and Roberts.

Who's the REAL problem here?

Was it Harrington who didn't notice the 50 million dollars SJU has spent on computer technology upgrades over the past 20 years? Or was it you?

Yeah, that's true.

I mean I understand why people wanted to be optimistic, we all want to see the team do well, I just couldn't get my hopes up with what I thought was going to happen to this team in the Big East, which has been what has happened in the first three contests.

The School will not fire another coach mid season.

Everyone is entitle to there opinion and their freedom to speech, but I am really against chatting fire Norm at the games. It will not help the situation and it is really demoralizing to the players. The players who represent St. John's do not deserve that type of action.

You were being annoying and obnoxious about it.  We were playing well and you were killing every player/coach when something didn't go right--during WINS.

This team has talent.  It has shooters.  It has kids that can take the ball to the rim. It does not have a capable coach, but I thought we could in spite of that.

Is it so wrong to try being optimistic for the first time in six years?  I want my Alma Mater to win.

I can't agree with you Kid. Perhaps it's the difference in our ages. When I went to St. John's we came out to games and yelled our heads off even though we had a couple of really disappointing years. Students are supposed to be there for the team. Period. As far as Coach Roberts is concerned, it is time for him to go,but I would be personally embarrassed for the coach AND the students to hear calls for his head during a game. Instead, why not have all the students standing and cheering for each team member during the introductions, then remaining mute and turning their backs when the coach is introduced. That would be much more gentlemanly and would still make the point.

There are 100 more signatures on this web site then there are season ticket holders for the St. John's basketball program.
