Read More on Calm Before the Storm: Get It Together

You should rename this feature "The Column Before the Storm."

No charge.

I like the image of gently lapping waves and a darkened horizon.  The column before the storm triggers an image of lonely Roman ruin with a darkened horizon, and that just makes me sad, thinking about civilizations that declined ungracefully.

But I will take your suggestion under advisement.

Going to all but guarantee we win this game.  Just fits the typical Norm Roberts pattern.

we win this by at least ten points.  the team that beat temple will show up.  then we'll beat depaul and the people who have been brainwashed that all we can be is mediocre will gush over how norm turned it all around.

ok...we didn't win by ten points.  hardy etal gutted it out at the end.  this will probably give norm another year since the powers that be are looking for any reason whatsoever to believe.

depaul is about to be punished by us...but they'll be passing us by before too long.

Is Sean Kilpatrick still on that team?

Hardy was sensational; DJ needs to take the shot when he has it, instead of forcing bad passes in an effort to be unselfish.  Sean is giving us nothing right now.

Today, I will be xhoops.  Why wont they get the ball inside to JB?

All in all, that was an enjoyable win.  Ugly but enjoyable.

7000 is prob the amt of tix sold to the doubleholder. That would include people who only came for the fordham dayton game. Just a guess, perhaps I'm wrong, but the gym was EMPTY.

at the start of the game it was pitiful, but before halftime the crowd was the best ive seen us pull into the garden over xmas break.  I was really stunned by how much it thinned out before the fordham game.
