There shouldn't be one empty seat in the student section today.

Hmm football playoffs and beer or watch St. John's play DePaul? I could see why people wouldn't attend today's game. Sorry to sound negative but thats realistic to the "college kid" "st. john's student" mindset

I've got the DVR set to record my beloved Cowboys but I will be in attendance for the Johnnies.  I'm not a student but I can't see why they wouldn't be in attendance---even though Depaul isn't a marquee opponent.

Since the Jets are on 4:30, one could attend the SJU game and catch most, if not all, of the Jets game.

It will be empty again, school doesn't start until Wednesday.  I'm gonna miss my first CA game today so I can watch the Jets, I live an hour and a half from Queens so I have an excuse.

I feel sorry for anyone who'd rather sit on their ass and watch tv than get out and see something live.

If it's your school, show some self respect.

You can't blame Norm for everything. He doesn't have a home court advantage, and that's been a problem for over a decade.

If we were a top 20 team there would be a lot more fans at the Garden. Can i blame that on Norm? :) I agree, students should be there regardless.

Well last time we played DePaul at Carnesecca the arena was filled with boo's and chants for Larry Wright so maybe less fans is a blessing in disguise. Seriously though if you're not in school or live local why would you go?

Also if we had to pick a game to play during student break at CA then against DePaul was the perfect opponent to do so.

Oh yea I should have taken a photo yesterday of my high school's student section (CBA) vs St. Pat's. It was a solid 20 rows deep by 20 guys wide. I believe the game is being re-aired on MSG at some point. Ugly game as Kyrie Irving dominated but the student section was what I wish we had at St. John's.

I'm talking about students. Not general fans. We know they don't care.

I'm a student, I go to every game.  School is currently on winter break and I'm not gonna travel an hour and 45 minutes just to see us play the worst team in the Big East and miss half of the biggest Jets game in five years when I can watch both our game and the Jets game on TV without the 3 hours of travel and thirty-five dollars in tolls/gas.  No students are on campus so I would expect a similar crowd to the Providence one.

Funny, how every other BE school has trouble finding enough seats for students. Not at St.John's. Always an excuse.
