I don't know where the scholly would come from, but it would make this team so much better.

A new coach would help more. Realistically, we aren't getting either.

 A stud would be great. But a an average Big East level point guard would great to. Run the offense. Play decent defense, and hit wide open shots.

 you know what STJ really needs??? fans...real fans...ones that demand a change...cheering for hardy to be in the game is not the type of fans this school needs...the players needs fans that will cheer Norm must go..but naah why would a bottom feeder program like Stj do that...good luck ever getting a point guard.

Just fire Roberts. Everything can come together once that happens.

there are no "stud point guards in junior college.  brownlee and hardy are good players...and they were among the best j-c's in america last year.

the landscape has changed.  the studs who don't get into college go to prep school.  you should know that already.

 I dont know how they do it in NYC anymore..but real programs, with real fans dont chant for a coach to put in a player, unless they are blowing out an opponent and want a walk on in the game..what they will do is call for the coach to be fired, and really cause a raucus...until the coach is removed.i.e Kentucky and Gillespie...boy the fans had no mercy on Billy and now they will be ranked number 1 in the country with the best player in the country...how do u like those apples?

Kob I agree with you...but Norm has always, always taken hot shooters out of the game..granted we havent had alot of hot shooters..but he skips them to the bench all the time...He ain't gonna change....He needs to be removed..

You can't compare Top Teir program or even their fans to St. John's..

At a place like UK or UNC, their basketball programs are the #1 sports in the state, college or pro. The fan bases are completely different.

Compare UNC or UK basketball to the Yankees, Mets, Knicks, Jets or Giants in NYC, that is a fair comparison.

St. John's basketball never has and never will be viewed in the same light as the top professional teams in the city.

Nooo! Geno and Gary are equally terrible. Just in different ways. My point is Norm's point guard recruitment has been abysmal.
