Wright sucked last year. This year, he can score. He's a great scoring guard, but not a great point guard.

PG  may be the least important position in the princeton offense.  certainly not as important as a more conventional offense.
   Georgetown may exit in round 2,  who knows.  but they are certainly a lot better off than us in all areas.  players,  coach, fan support.

Due to how the offense is predicated on cutting and screening....  The point guard isn't, as key of a position for a team who runs--as, you say--a conventional offense.

The key for them are guys who are capable of hitting outside shots and one (or, more) of their forwards or centers being good passers.  There are also a couple of other factors, but those being vital.

You're right, in that G'town is better than us on every level....  But, I'm not gonna go out and say, their fans are better.  The "Phone Booth" isn't an intimidating place to play.  They are prone to sit on their hands.

Besides, their fans also have more to cheer for than the Johnnies....  Evenly matched.... Meaning, both teams were playing at an elite level....  I think the Johnnies would have more of a homecourt advantage.

But, it's not.... So, it's a moot point at the moment.

Baldi likes to joke around and some of y'all fall for it.  lol  I'm sure he knows Wright is much better than Boothe.   I hate to say it, but Boothe is awful.  Been believing that he wasn't any good for about 2 years.  A bobblehead would be more effective than Boothe.

Nevertheless, Wright is a scorer and not much of a facilitator.  At least, he can do something valuable for his team.  He has to be respected from the outside and that is MUCH more we can say for our PG.

I also believe Baldi do not like G'town.  So, he's not gonna give 'em any props.  I can go along with him, as far as the goes.  There is still plenty of hoops to be played for many, collegiate teams.  So, we shall see what G'town does, as the season plays out.

THAT IS BETTER THAN BOTH OF OUR PG's combined.

They just smacked around Duke while the president watched, ranked 7th in the AP poll right now. Who cares if they beat us twice last year. They have actually accomplished something over the past 6 years under their coach. WE ARE GARBAGE and you can make excuses saying Wright sucks but he is the starting PG on the 7th ranked team in the country.

WE CANNOT AND WILL NEVER SAY THAT UNDER NORM and the players he recruits.

Seton Hall is imploding, which I also have stated in the past. They have a dckhead for a coach and his players reflect that. They still can make some noise. I wouldnt want to play them in the Big East tourny.

I said I would eat crow when Chris Wright leads them to Sweet 16, after all they are a top 10 team with a great PG right? Great PG's usually will their teams to wins in the NCAA tourny.
