Malik Boothe has made 2 FG over past 9 games!

How is he still starting?

Over the past 4 games he hasn't registered one FG made and his turnovers are more than double his assists.

How does Norm Roberts not see this is a problem?

My guess is stubborness or total lack of insight.

There's more to the game than basketball dave.  Malik is a nice guy, a team leader, very short, and is used to starting. How would it affect him if he is pulled from the lineup? He's used to starting now. What good does it do someone to show them you have to earn something continually?  All that would do is make my son er malik sad.  Come on dave. He's a good kid.  There's more to this than just bball.

How dare you even suggest we take away malik's role as a starter.  He's already very short. How much more hardship does he need to go through here?  Were running a clean program here. There shall be no taking away of minutes for poor play. That's just mean. Unless your name is burrell or hardy.  Then I remove you for GOOD play. So the crowd gies them a standing o in the middle of the game, ya know. I'm all about making the kids happy. Geez.

Even your sarcastic theory doesn't apply. Why did Justin Burrell get yanked out of the starting lineup? 

The only logical reason I can see for that is foul trouble but I'd have to look deeper into that and see why JB is fouling and correct that rather than sit him because he's too good of a weapon to sit and it only hinders our whole team.

A few times a week I play 5 on 5 at New Yorks Sports club. There are some decent and not so decent former HS point guards that play there. I would be very surprised if any of them played a minute of college hoops, but all of them can hit a wide open 17 foot jump shot all day.
Neither Malik in my mind should ever have been recruited because besides being to short neither can shoot at all.

What is bizarre is that Roberts didn't seek to remedy the matter by bringing in a JuCo point that has a respectable shot (give up on NY)? Recognizing that he doesn't have one scoring point on his roster, one would think that for his own sense of survival, he'd be railing on his assistants to go out and scout the top JuCo programs for a servicable BE point.

It's now been six years without a quality point guard. This has got to be one of the longer stretches in the history of the program. There are dry spells and then there are droughts.
