Norm for five more years

OK, even as his friend I don’t want that for the team, but I got your attention.

The real question is about the rapist, I mean alleged rapist, I mean confirmed adulteress Rick Pitino…

Did he give a HOF performance tonight? I sit behind our bench and watch our guys and our staff, so it wouldn’t be fair for me to comment on his performance.

For those who watched him closely in person or on TV, did our Norman actually out coach him???

Would you still petition FH to spend a few million dollars a year to bring this sleaze, I mean head coach to Queens?

yes, but it wont happen given his recent incidents.  i personally dont care what a coach does off the court for the most part.

He's more likely to end up at Rutgers than SJ.

I would take a drunk Billy Gillespie over Norm...are you kidding....The team wins one game, and you want to compare him to a National Championship winner??? How many titles of any kind has a Norm Roberts team won???

It was a great win last night for the team, and I am very happy for Justin Burrell..The fact is this is not a very good Louisville team, and everyone knows it..Still more ball to play...We are still in the bottom group in the big east...dont let one win confuse you.

SJ you are missing RSHF's point.  RSHF is not suggesting Norm is a better coach than Rick.  I think RSHF is pointing out that Rick looked old and beaten down last night...and so did his team.  Rick has gone through a lot this year, and I actually wonder if he needs a break.  It'd be understandable.  Rick Pitino is NOT my first choice as coach  (though a change of scenery might be just the thing he needs).

I do think Rick at this stage and given everything that's happened, perhaps he'd be better at the NBA game where he gets somewhat of a break...recruiting, coaching in the BE, and his family issues have got to be wearing him down.

Rick still loves St.Johns though, he even said after the game if he had to lose one game he would pick to lose it to St.Johns.

rapist?  a guy gets some trim on a restaurant table and he's a rapist?

are you sure you aren't FH?  he hates young men who have sex with women.  he kicked some of them out of school to make an example of them.  then he goes ahead and protects his pedophile classmate who got caught pounding off while skiping to a 13 year old boy.

rape is a horrible crime.   it's not something to make light of.

i'd take pitino...but he should have had a young boy and not a willing partner from the opposite sex if he wanted to work here.

I would take the wrongfully accused rapist over the wrongfully accused basketball coach every day of the week! Pitino is a great basketball coach, Norm is the worst basketball coach on the planet! Why is this even a topic ??? ::)

To be fair - something I'm known for - Ms. Sypher said it was rape. It seems unlikely: most rape victims don't marry their rapist's employee. So probably "accused rapist" Rick Pitino would be more appropriate.

Yes!  Guys have cheated on their wives from the dawn of mankind. Shit, Clinton did it in the oval office and he's still beloved, for the most part.
I could care less what he does in his spare time. As long as its legal.

I had a similar thought lined up for redmen.com, but figured it wasn't worth a banning.

If you think you are Norm's friend, you are delusional.  All you are to him is one of a hundred older white guys that he needs to fluff to keep his job.
