I'm fed up with this whole program and Who Cares???? Merged
« on: March 01, 2010, 12:25:03 PM »
Honestly, beside the 50 people that post online and the 1 to 2 thousand long time season tickets.  They moved our whole section to the other side of the court at alumni hall,  all the guys I used to joke around with (DIE HARD FANS) gave up their seats, we went from 6 tickets for 30 years down to 3 this year and next year it might just be 2. After Syracuse beat nova on Saturday the ESPN anchor doing the highlight said (sic) "Syracuse needs just one more win to clinch the title and you can give it to them now as they play St. Johns"
We are a joke.  I used to watch every minute of every game.  I even would listen on the radio when the games weren't televised.  Now I just don't care, why should I?  It has been the same thing for years and every passing game we are losing recruiting opertunities impacting every year that follows.

Worse then wanting them to lose (which seems to be popular) I am apathetic.
Peace in the Middle East.

They should change their name to St.John's Apathy.
The mascot could be an empty seat.

That, or the Red Sht Storm. One I've always been fond of.

Watch what Arinze Onuaku and Rick Jackson do to Evans and Mason. Gonna be ugly.
Too bad we don't have a legit center, or PF that could start up front.

Oh wait, we do. They just don't play.

It will next year if we have a new coach kob.  It might happen this year despite norm but based on how little norm focuses on justin, I doubt it.

If it would have under Roberts it would have happened by now.

Justin's first game against the Cuse had my hopes high that this class of kids was gonna turn around the program. Three years later all that hope is gone.

I was at that game and couldnt believe how good of a player Norm got.  Damn norm and his shit offense and his shit player development.  If Burrell played for Boehim, he would make him a 1st round pick.

You can't say it any better than that. There is no question in my mind on that. It almost seems criminal.....at least civil.....any lawyers ?

Actually, I'd bet Mookie is thinking he'll probably get to take off the warm ups tomorrow night.

Rip on Mookie all you want. His choice might not have been so smart. That said, there isn't a 3 in the nation that starts of Wes Johnson.

I am fed up with this whole program

We are awful on the court, we have an awful coach and I have been to every game except for two games this year that were while I was on winter break and I live an hour and a half away.  I even went to road games against Georgetown and Rutgers

I don't go to any other sporting events other than men's basketball and usually don't bother swiping at any of the games because all they give us is stupid MVP points which can be redeemed for crap that I don't need.

I was waiting for an e-mail to come about student tickets for the Big East Tournament next week and got tired of waiting so I called the ticket office last week.  they told me an e-mail about a lottery should be coming shortly.  I never got an e-mail so I called today and I get told that they only sent e-mails to the season ticket holders who are the top 50 in MVP points and only they will be selected for the lottery for student tickets and if I didn't get an e-mail I can buy full price tickets on Monday.  I am so freaking fed up with this school and this program.  Everything they do is so second-rate it's ridiculous.  So a kid who goes to poetry readings and mid-term stress relievers gets Big East Tourney tickets but I don't.   What a load of crap, they have received the last dime they will ever get from me.

Thanks Redzone for your crappy MVP reward program that doesn't work for costing me Big East Tourney tickets.  What a joke, I'm not going to give these clowns another dime ever again, I'll just buy tickets from scalpers for a major discount and sneak down.  Congrats St. John's, you lost a true fan today.  Have fun when there are absolutely no students at the games next week while our opponent has a full side of fans and we get blown out.  I'lll be watching from my couch and laughing.

I asked them about that and they told me to call back on Monday and we can maybe buy tickets for full price and not in the student section.  I am just so pissed.  This Redzone crap has to stop, why did I even buy season tickets? Last year we only had about 6 or 7 students at the games and that was with the whole season ticket population being involved.  I can't imagine that we will draw even one student to this tournament.  I had been looking forward to going all year and now I can't.  I'm seriously about to head down there and give whoever is in charge a piece of my mind.

Why on earth would you want to go?

I only have 4 years at this school and I would like to enjoy them by getting some of the perks that comes with paying a lofty tuition bill.  Also, the Big East tourney is always a good time.  I have gone every year for the last 10 years for the games that St. John's has played in.   This year I will not be going unless I get student tickets, I can't afford full price ones.

Why do they even have a lottery in the first place.  Last year it was just 7-8 students and 20-30 alumni in the STUDENT section.  If they just let anyone buy tickets, I guarantee they wouldn't even come close to selling out the student allotment.
