holy crap i didnt expect a season like this i swore they was gonna finish 8th im at a lost for words. what happened to brownlee?

Norm doesn't know how to coach a kid like Brownlee.  Brownlee is so comfortable on the baseline, and that is really odd for a kid these days.  You'd think you'd see back screens and backdoor cuts for JB2 on the baseline, or some drive and alley-oops to him.

Yes we are better offensively. Last year in the BE we averaged 62.5.
This year we are up to 63.4. Almost one whole point better. On the down side our BE high last year was 84 pts. This year 74.
It may not mean much to you but the improvement is masked by playing a slightly slower (read: taking slightly fewer  :o shots) pace.

It's still one of the worst major conference offenses.

For those who like tempo-free numbers, Norm's offenses are mentioned as consistently "horrid" by Dan Hanner (who posts on his site and a number of national outlets: http://yetanotherbasketblog.blogspot.com/2010/01/coaches-part-2.html).  And for conference numbers only, I put together a table with Norm's in-conference offensive and defensive efficiencies: http://theeastcoastbias.wordpress.com/2010/02/11/when-its-time-to-change/

I should re-do that table.  The team's gotten better since then.  But not good enough.

This is the single biggest reaon I hate Norm. Our offense is embarrasing! It is actually brutal to watch. I could deal with losses, our style of play is not tolerable.
No one can disagree with that. Just seems like free ball to me with the player with the ball free to do dumb things if they so choose.
