I believe that must just be base salary.  Hewitt gets paid 1.375 mil minimum compensation, but I think it includes tv appearances, etc.

Coach K and Boeheim and many of the guys on that list get MUCH more $ through different revenue.  This is just base salary.

Jeff Capel is your man!

Capel has McD AA's and had a terrible year.  That worries me.

Capel is a much better option, 3 ncaa appearances in eight years is better than 3 for 20 man!

I agree with you on Greenberg, he shouldn't be our first choice, but if he is who we get, I think there are reasons why he COULD do better at St. John's than Va tech....I also think anyone who would rather stick with Norm than go with seth hasn't a clue.

so man the hell up, get every dollar u have laying around, every penny u have saved, every alumni willing to contribute, and shell out 3 mill a year and go after pitino...if the program starts doing what it could do with a big name coach like pitino, he would end up paying for himself
