I really thought it would be Quincy Roberts.
This would be unexpected, and potentially damaging.

Last two St.Ray's kids leaving?

Rumors of Omari leaving have been around for a while. Question is whether it's his choice or if he was given a nudge.

Oh well.

I don't understand this mentality at all.  If someone isn't Carmelo people want to run them off after their first year.

Omari is a very good player.  Great bball IQ...even though he had a few rough spots this year adjusting to the level of play... I think he could be very good for us.  Really hope this is not true.

When you're a kid from New York and you do it in New York, that lasts forever!

Obviously there is a disconnect between SJu and Omari.  I'm not losing any sleep over this.  Granted he was gonna be a decent player for us,  but either he or Lavin doesn't see it that way.  Lavin will recruit someone better,  i have no doubt.  Maybe this means Barry is coming,  who knows.

That being said,  there are at 2 other guys i'd rather see move on than Omari.  He's in a bad numbers crunch at his position though.  Not enough minutes.

When Omari is released, Lavin will have 1 scholly to work with. Anymore to open up?  I say maybe 1 or 2

I don't know if I see more than 1 guy leaving but who knows.  I would have to believe that if the school and Omari are announcing the split tomorrow that any other players announcement would come on the same day.

I don´t like it.

A week ago you said that he would be a starter in 2011-12 season.

I would not be shocked if Rob Thomas and Stith join Omari

Why is everyone so quick to throw Rob Thomas under the bus?

Oh im not throwing him under the bus at all. Just the nature of the business. If , lets say Omari was told he doesnt fit, what do you think will be said to Rob Thomas?
