I don't understand why so many people discuss Quincy leaving.  He'd have to sit out another year.  I can't imagine him wanting to sit out back to back years.

Maybe, he didn't look like he could help us, as freshmen playing at a position (point guard) he wasn't comfortable playing.  Not to mention, he was under the tutelage of Stormin' Norm.  So, playing a position he probably didn't have any reason playing and playing for a guy who seemed to have no rhyme or reason....  Well....  I hope you catch my drift. 

I think Roberts could be a decent backup, as he has a pretty decent shot.  Nevertheless, something could be brewing with Stith.  Time will tell.

 I think Quincy has potential.  He's 6' 5"  has a decent shot and can attack the rim.  He didn't have a good freshman season...so what.  Unless your name is Carmelo , Durant, or Wall,  most freshman struggle a bit.  He will contribute to this team i think.  Not sure where all the hate comes from. 

Quincy can definitely play at this level.  Again just because the kid is not all american as a freshman does not mean he can't eventually play at a high level.

I think Quincy can help us this year.  He can defend and can shoot.

Does Lavin have something up his sleeve for PG?  Not good going into the season with only Boothe at the point.

We just have to trust Lavin.  He deserves that much.

Maybe he'll get better, but in most cases, you ride the pine because you're
not good enough not to.

Stith is a goner. We've all seen this coming. 

 Not directed at you Poison.  In general, on all the sites,  there seems to be an anti-Quincy bias.   I'm just trying to figure out why.  Kid was a freshman on a bad team with an even worse coach.  I think he has some potential, and can contribute at this level. Let's see how he comes into this season.  I liked the way he took it to the hoop strong as a freshman.

Boo, poor instincts. Terrible handle. Okay shooter, okay defense, but we already have a team full of seniors with bad bball instincts.

He's a big guard, and at a smaller school, he could so well.

Yet, I could be wrong, and maybe playing out of position was enough to take him out of the game entirely. Maybe he stays. I just don't want to lose Stith in favor of Q running the p.

I'm actually glad to hear this.  No need for this kid to transfer now when he can get 10-15 mins as a soph for an NCAA tournament team.  If he wants to transfer he should do it after next year.

To assume anything off of that vague facebook status of Stith's is ridiculous.
