WOW! This is the kind of stuff I have been missing. 5 pages of off balance jr's chances of making the pros. You will see his father in the NBA again before you see Mase. My sources tell me there is a spot waiting for him on the Kakhastan Borat's right next to his buddy Geno.

yeah man, i agree. first year out of college, mase is going to make a lot more money than i am going to. not to mention, its not like he's making and sending his resume out, writing cover letters, sending emails. going on job interviews. he just shows up and plays basketball.

i'd take it.

edit: and he will probably live in europe for a few years.

Apparently he is on the Heat's summer league roster.

http://www.palmbeachpost.com/sports/heat/michael-beasley-mario-chalmers-not-on-miami-heats-786998.html

The Heat is holding workouts at AmericanAirlines Arena through Saturday. Its five-game summer-league schedule begins Sunday in Las Vegas against a similar group of young players from the New Orleans Hornets.

The Heat's Las Vegas schedule also includes games against summer squads from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks.

Among the names of interest on the 19-player camp roster are undrafted Duke guard Jon Scheyer, undrafted St. John's forward Anthony Mason Jr. and undrafted Alabama guard Mikhail Torrance. Mason Jr. is the son of former Heat power forward Anthony Mason, who also played under Heat President Pat Riley with the New York Knicks.

With Miami needing 9 minimum contracts will Mase make the roster?

A week ago I would have thought Mase making an NBA roster would have been impossible but with how little money the Heat have the may need Mase. He also knows Pat Riley so that cant hurt his chances, it would be great to see him win a ring even if has to be with that team.

its not guaranteed...not at all...im sick of the media portraying it that way...they have a roster of about 5-7 guys if u wanna include unsigned draft picks...IF they make it to the finals against the lakers, they are gonna have artest up lebrons a$$, bosh taking on bynum and gasol, and wade left trying to outkobe kobe, and whatever toolbags they sign for the min to fill out their roster against the lakers bench...guaranteed title? ummm, no

Great point! If the Heat dont win a title in the next 2 years, the signing of the Big 3 should be considered a huge bust. I never thought I'd say this, but Im starting to like Kobe Bryant.

Jon Scheyer hit game winning 3 for the heat. I think he has a very good shot at making this team.

haha...Mase?  No way he's hurt! ;)

There's alot of guys with DNPs.  Seems to be 20 guys on the Heat summer league roster and half got DNPs the last 2 games.

Some teams play one set of guys one game, and DNP guys the other.

I thought Mase said something about an injury on his Twitter.
