He smothered Pierce and hit the big shots.  He got it done when it counted.

Congrats Ron!

Big Time Props to Ron Ron, i criticized his offensive play during the first 5 games and he came up big when it counted the last two games.  Plus, he was great defending Pierce, which was most important.

He'll be there for 4 more years so he'll have the opportunity to win more.

Ron Artest thanked God and his psychiatrist and even apologized to Donnie Walsh for "bailing out" on him when he played for the Indiana Pacers.

On the final night of the 2009-10 NBA season, Artest managed to upstage Kobe Bryant on the court and later steal the show during a memorable, stream of consciousness press conference following the Lakers' dramatic Game 7 victory over the Boston Celtics in the Finals.

Rambling Ron-Ron savored every minute of becoming a first-time NBA champion. He playfully shouted at reporters to "acknowledge me" when he took to the podium and was excited to see his face on a Wheaties cereal box.

"So I'm blessed ... and I totally forgot the question you asked," Artest said at one point.
