He was asked about the lack of scoring for the team, and Lavin said he hopes the pressure defense and faster pace will help them score more points (I noted he didn't say "get more efficient"). He wouldn't take Katz' bait when Andy asked if St. John's would make the NCAAs (and then Katz hedged to "postseason"). Lavin also said he's not a miracle worker a couple of times.
Basically, he represented the school well, said it was the right opportunity in the right city to get back into coaching. Mentioned that his wife is taking some intensive classes at NYU for the acting, if any of you want to stalk her.
