Per Rivals and Scout (via fordham on Redmen.com)....

He did not commit to UK but he is reclassifying to 2010. He is fully qualified and his phone is ringing off the hook with offers. He is going to visit USC and UCLA because they are close. UK is definitely on the list as apparently during an interview with Rivals he literally got a phone call from Orlando Antigua of UK with an offer. Both Scout and Rivals mention SJU as offering.

DeAndre Daniels, a 6-8 small forward from Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft, is now eligible for the Class of 2010 and has reportedly been offered by Memphis, UTEP, St. John’s, UCLA, UNLV and  Kentucky. Scout.com reported he will visit USC and UCLA this weekend and is also taking with Kentucky…

Simply put, Daniels has developed into a complete player as a combo forward. His game reminds of Corey Brewer, except with a better jump shot.
