I think it's us. I think we'll improve leaps and bounds just because Norm won't be around. His presence just oozed failure.

Lavin is opposite of him. You'll see our seniors play with pride, work hard, and fight on every play.

Something we've clearly missed.

Iona has a chance this year with a new coach and crop of players taking over at Siena. But from the little I've seen, Fairfield was very good last year, and has the top backcourt in that conference.

I think we would have gotten in with Norm. We were only a few key losses away last year. We were getting better. Not saying I want him back. I just like these players. If Coach Hines and Dunlap are half as good as advertised we are going to see a major improvement. Maybe I had to much Kool aid but I expect to make the tourney.

This poll shouldn't have Iona or Hofstra.  Iona and to a lesser extent have a better chance of landing an auto bid.  Fordham should not even come close to this poll and its a waste of bandwidth to include them.

It should be STJ, SHU, and Rutgers.  I think we make it.  Seton Hall has good parts but I wonder how they will react to Willard.  Rutgers, no chance this year.

Well if it was just a local BIG EAST poll than yes. But you guys are underestimating the Gaels this year

It's between St. John's and *gulp* Iona.  I really think we make it this year, but we have to take care of business against similar and lesser opponents.  Our schedule is FANTASTIC to give us a top 35 RPI if we do this.

Marillac, gun to your head-Who do you want starting at forward Burrell or Mike Glover?

I'm a huge Mike Glover fan.  I think Burrell has more of an upside, but Glover just gets it done.  I'd probably take Glover.

Damn right, Glover is a horse and imo will be 1 of the top players in the MAAC right away. It will be interesting how he plays against Syracuse

If he's so good, why is he in the MAAC?

Seton Hall has a chance to be very good this year.

I think both St. John's and Seton Hall make the tourney this year. SHU has a tremendous amount of talent but Gonzo just couldn't manage it. Maybe a coaching change is exactly what they needed.

I think Willard has some problems with the knuckleheads on this squad. Just wait til Hazzell gets yanked after chucking away

Iona is making it this year without a doubt...they were before the recruiting class cluess brought in so now they should roll to the regular season MAAC title....although yes, i believe we have a decent shot of joining it with them

Am I supposed to like them? I just think the players on that team dont fit in well with Willards style. Plus hes a yeller, and has the quick hook
