Ricardo Ledo (Providence, R.I./South Kent School)
2012, SG, 6-6, 178 pounds
His talent and potential were immediately noticeable once the five-on-five action began. Even when he isn't at his absolute best, he simply makes the type of plays that others can't. He literally is able to effortlessly go from one side of the rim to the other in mid-air to finish with dunks and has the full complement of size, athleticism and basketball skill. He over-dribbles at times and gets caught up in trying to do too much, but his long term potential is as high as anyone in the class.

Has he mentioned anything about what schools he's interested in?  Assuming St. John's doesn't get all of the intended 2011 recruiting targets (and if they're smart), this kid would be a nice tall guard to lock down.  And if he came with Khem and Jevon Thomas... nasty.

He's been very vague, but primarily BE/SEC/ACC schools. He's actually a reclassified 2011 kid-on his third hs. It'll be interesting to see what goes on with Omar Calhoun, a smaller, less athletic, local version of Ledo with a higher bb IQ.

St. John's didn't make his final seven.

My guess is Syracuse for this kid. It is total specualtion on my part.

When the Orange get close with kids they are really going after, they usually get their man.

Syracuse seems to be getting better and better talent each year.

He tore it up today dropped 35 at Hoop Group Tip Off. He has really deep range and can take it to the rack. Kind of reminds me of Tracy Mcgrady somewhat.

Ive been saying for a few years Keno should have waited another year to take a job. Same with Willard

I fail to see how one situation has to do with another. The promise of a blue chip recruit saves a job there is no way around that.

A few things about Ledo he's a big time player who can shoulder a scoring load. The first thing anyone would say when someone asked, "where is he going?" is "anywhere he wants"

Also I wonder how Keno will feel about Rick Pitino coaching the Puerto Rican national team which Ledo will be playing for.

This guy and Vincent Council should be a nice backcourt. I like Council's game, strong player. How big of a nice person is Jamine Peterson, he'd be 1 of the best players in the Big East this year

From everything I've read its a long shot he makes that team anyway.
