Dave, sorry, for the trouble, but in no way is it out of line to say that Rob Thomas could lose weight without working out, because he can.

That's not my opinion.

It's not out of line to say in the past he could have dealt with his weight/diet better while being injured but saying he's dining at KFC is.

Also the 4 hour thing under 25 isn't necessarily true. Everyone's bodies and metabolisms differ.

They say the camera adds 30 lbs  ;)

Seriously, you guys are blowing this out of proportion.  You can't tell shit from a picture like that.  Burrell looks soft in the pic i saw, doesn't mean jack.

Guys, FYI, I was walking by "campus" and saw RT in person.  He is like a "mack truck" and his abs are "rock solid" (lol).  He's going to make opposing teams' bench players "pay" when he gets on the "court" :D

Bullwinkle and Bell Bev Devoe need to "chill out (lol)!  ;D

Peace!

Was Rob there last night?

Yes.  It's clear he is the 12th man on the depth chart.

Even with Burrell redshirting?

I just don't get it with him.  People want to use the knee as an excuse, but people come back from bad knee injuries.  I think the conditioning is holding him back.

Stop trolling? He wont be ready for the beginning of the season anyway. Sit out the year, get healthy and get a year under his belt with this staff. Next year, Lavin will have a legit Big East power forward for the new recruits to play with. And if he improves, maybe JB gets a shot to get his name called

There is absolutely no point in Burrell redshirting. He's going to miss half the season because he's injury prone.

He could redshirt this year, and play in 10 games next year.

Baldi,

Few things frustrate me more than your redshirt bs.  This team is so close to making or missing the NCAA tournament.  If we stay healthy I think we just get it in.  A serious injury or a redshirt and we will miss it.  What do you not understand about that?

2011-2012 will be a VERY exciting year with all the young talent, but nobody is expecting us to do any better tan .500.  Heck, the national champion Uconn squad with RIP Hamilton, Voskuhl, Freeman, and Wane as freshman and Roshamel Jones and Ricky Moore as soph's finished at .500.

Why waste a player like JB for MAYBE an extra win or two in a year we won't make the NCAA anyway?  It doesn't make ANY sense.  Also, why clog up the lineup and give less minutes to somebody like Polee, Achiuwa, and/or Sampson that can actually benefit from the experience when we make a deep run the next 2-3 years?

This team would be better than .500 next year with more than 3 guys returning. Burrell will try to come back early, play a few games and break it again.  Than what?
