St. John's will take on 11 of the initial 50:

Ty Abbott
Corey Fisher
Austin Freeman
Kris Joseph
Tyler Honeycutt
Austin Gibbs
Jeremy Hazell
Kyle Singler
Nolan Smith
Brandon Triche
Kemba Walker

Oh, and Jordan Williams was one of the initial Wooden 50

Austin Freeman? Brandon Triche? I wouldn't put them on an All BE 3rd team.

What a joke.

LOL  I might can agree with you about Triche not worthy of being on an All Big East 3rd team, but I think Freeman is worthy of being a 1st or 2nd team all conference.

Wooden Award list?  I have no problem with Freeman being on the initial list.  But, Triche?!  No way!

Triche is purely a speculation pick. He didn't do enough last year to earn anything close to this, but this implies he'll blow up

Remember Baldi, Triche was 18 last year.
Chris Wright is a college basketball veteran.

We know how good Wright is now.

Let's see what kind of player Triche is now that he's had a full season under his belt.

I have played against Triche a couple of times he is legit just give him another year or so.  I am 4 yrs older than him and the couple of times we played him he more than held his own, but had a bad knee injury in hs.  Once he adjusts to the speed he will be one hell of a player.

Also, Syracuse is bringing in a guard that has been compared to Baron Davis and Dwayne Wade.

His name is Dion Waiters.

Mookie will get burn this year.

Let's hope Paris Horne doesn't play his patented I dare you to make a wide open 3 pointer defense.

He's talented, but who compared him to those two?

Paris is our best, and hardest working, defender.

Paris doesn't guard the 3, but I agree, he does work hard. Hopefully, Lavin can help him learn an all around game before he leaves.

Leaving shooters wide open was probably a Norm Roberts mandate.
